Clinton Basically Admits a Clinton Presidency Can't Exist in a World with Conservative Media

Hillary Clinton doesn’t have a lot of faith in the Clinton regime’s chances of survival in the presence of oppositional media sources.

According to the Daily Caller, Clinton “42” and Clinton “never was” sat down for a Clinton Foundation event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Bill’s election to office in 1992.

During the discussion, Hillary struck at right leaning media outlets, saying that Bill was only elected and survived his first term because outlets like Fox News were not around yet:

“Unfortunately our body politic’s immune system has been impaired because there has been a concerted effort starting with the creation of the Fox network — it wasn’t there when Bill first ran, it was one of the reasons he probably survived, it was there when he ran the second time — it and all of its associated media outlets who are by no means delivering news. They are delivering partisan advocacy positions irrespective of the truth, the facts, the evidence,” Clinton said.

Hillary’s condemnation of the clearly partisan leanings of MSNBC and CNN were not mentioned…go figure.

But then Hillary — the same woman who attempted to force her ideological beliefs on a nation from the moment she received any kind of power — said that people should put aside ideological beliefs and report, I can only assume, things she approves.

“I think we’ve got to stand up regardless of what party regardless of our own ideological beliefs. A democracy depends on an informed citizenry that has access to accurate information. And I will tell you that there is no such thing as an alternative fact it does not exist in politics or in nature,” she continued.

Despite Clinton’s eye roll worthy comments here, she is right about the fact that a Clinton presidency could not survive without there being a partisan media vacuum. Hillary lost her election in the face of an online onslaught of reporting about her past and present. Without a controlled media presence, she just couldn’t get her campaign to reach the necessary heights.

Likewise, while Bill Clinton did have such a wholly partisan media to rely on, his reputation was in shambles and continued to worsen as time went on thanks to the arrival of things like Fox News and the Drudge Report, which was the first to break the Monica Lewinsky story.
