Black Lives Matter Leader Who Was Robbed Suddenly Wants More Cops

In a hilarious twist, the real world hit a Black Lives Matter activist square in the face when he realized that cops are actually great to have around.

Houston BLM leader, Jerry Ford Jr., noticed a man walking around outside of his apartment complex, and mistook him for a student. According to the story Ford told KTRK Houston, he was trying to help the guy when things went south.

“The guy was standing right here just seemed like he was hanging out,” Ford said. “I told him wassup. He asked me did I have a key to get in. I told him yeah I’m about to go upstairs.”

Ford lives just blocks from the UH campus at the Vue on MacGregor apartments.

“I reach in right here to open the door and I turn back around and he has the gun right there in my face,” he tells us.

The man, described as a black male, then forced Ford to hand over his wallet and cell phone. Of course, Ford has nothing but pity for the guy, and blames society.

“I would’ve gave him money,” he said. “I would’ve talked to him because the real crime is why is he in that position that he feels the need to come and hang out at a college campus and rob people of stuff they worked for.”

But despite all his Black Lives Matter stances, Ford is suddenly all about having cops around.

“It’s becoming a pattern. I hope they would take a bigger stance and put more security over here because you have a lot of people walking back and forth to class,” Ford said.

This is pretty rich, seeing as how the movement he supports stands against police as a whole, going to so far as to disassociate themselves with people who do try to create peace and community with police officers. This is a movement that marches through the streets calling for dead cops, and then gets dead cops when these men put their lives on the line to protect them, just like they did in Dallas.

Ford says he’s above much of that kind of behavior, though. Stating he’s never been against good cops, and only wants more police accountability. If that’s true, then maybe he should disassociate from the movement, and if already has, make that very clear. Black Lives Matter and Ford clearly don’t see eye to eye.

South Park, as usual, foretold of this exact situation happening in a promo they did just a few days ago.
