Continuing the long, proud tradition of booing when matters of religion are happening on the Democratic National Convention stage, 2016’s DNC is not failing to disappoint.
During the opening prayer being given by Dr. Cynthia Hale, the crowd erupted when this election’s Democratic “chosen one” was merely mentioned.
“We have an opportunity, oh God, to give undeniable evidence to our commitment to justice and equality by nominating Hillary Rodham Clinton as our candidate for the highest office in the land,” prayed Hale.
At first, this was met with cheers, but these cheers were quickly drowned out by loud booing from those in the crowd. These boos quickly gave way to loud chanters shouting “BERNIE! BERNIE! BERNIE!”

UNITY!
Many in this crowd would naturally turn hostile at the mention of Clinton’s name, seeing as how the DNC, under Debbie Wasserman Schultz, conspired to work against Bernie with all sorts of dirty tricks, including depicting Sander’s supporters as “violent.”
Sanders himself was recently booed by his own supporters for even suggesting that his followers vote for Hillary Clinton.
As it stands, the DNC is shaping up to be the most interesting event in politics in a while.
