There might be a battle for the first year or three, but on reaching the fourth battle, the congresscritters will fob it off on an unelected &quot;independent non-partisan committee.&quot; After that their offices would become essential in overturning &quot;bad&quot; decisions made by the committee or obtaining the appropriate waivers so the committee rules can be ignored. Thus you will be dependent not only on government in general, but on your elected congresscritter specifically. This form of government has gone by many names: communism, socialism, fascism are the common ones today, feudalism seems to me to be not to much of a stretch when looking farther back. But at the heart of all of these different forms of government is one constant concept: totalitarianism, though that too has gone by other names including once upon a time Divine Right.

If The Grand Experiment is to continue, health care reform MUST be defeated.</description>
