Your take on Scozzafava is correct. She was never one of us and her graceless exit adds to the perception. Would have thought more of her if she had run as a Democrat.

Not only do we have to strip the sheep’s clothing from the Democrats, we have to strip the disguise from our own candidates. Well, it is Halloween….

They trumpet the non-existent virtues of the Left continuously, but nothing that our side does is given any credit at all. That’s if it’s even recognized as something to deserve positive credit for. I think that our habit of not shouting about our good deeds or adult behavior is just part of being good citizens and good people.

Take heart, BCM, because they don’t give Christians any credit either. But God does.

from the embarrassment of having to explain why I said Doug Hoffman was the Constitution Party candidate when in fact he’s the Conservative Party candidate.

I changed the diary above and elsewhere around the interwebz to correct my error.

I especially regret that it might have caused any of you out there to think less of me …

Every time I hear mean spirited Republicans I always think of things like:

Al Gore recanting his concession;
Ashcroft not contesting losing to a dead guy in Missouri;
Thune waving off a constitutionally mandated recount in SD;
The whole Toricelli debacle where the NJ constitution was simply ignored;

the list goes on. For the life of me I can’t figure out why it is that the GOP, with all its problems, still far outperforms the Left when it comes to civility and continues to suffer from being tagged with the label “mean spirited”.

Because I have some Dem friends who are always telling me what big meanies the R’s are, how they are all about just themselves and don’t want to play nice with anyone else.

So now I have face to go with the characterization. How lovely it is that the face belongs to someone that radical lefties like Kos supported!
