Delicate Obama

Over at the Corner, Andy McCarthy makes a pithy, yet voluminous statement about the hissy-fit reactions of Obama's campaign.
Can somebody explain to me how Obama sat in Wright's church for 20 years and managed never to hear anything, but hears 20 seconds of a Bush speech that doesn't mention him and perceives a shameful personal attack?"
Read on for a jock's take on Obama...
Barack Obama has shown himself to be notoriously thin-skinned during the election cycle. Much has been made of the fact that "politics ain't beanbag." While true, I think that Obama's willingness to cry foul over every perceived slight, and his desire to abrogate any criticism of him as irrelevant, reflects a deeper problem.
I'm a lifelong jock, a lover of boxing, hockey and football (not to mention the daintier sports like baseball and golf) and I appreciate a great contest. So in that vein, I submit that Obama's biggest problem is that he is a soft touch. This has deeper consequences than just trying to mute his worrisome Chicago connections, because he can't take the heat. Obama is simply too much of a pansy to run this country.
Quoth Tyler Durden in Fight Club: "How much can you know about yourself, if you've never been in a fight?"
This speaks to the heart of the issue. Obama was reared in a multi-culti, passive, soft environment. He's never been battle-tested, and he trots out his surrogates to face the ax when something politically inconvenient surfaces about him. Bad policy? Blame the intern. Lied about campaign promises? Feed your advisors to the wolves. But for the love of God, DO NOT ever step into the ring yourself.
Obama cannot handle gentle inquiries by an adoring press. Their kid-gloves treatment has been the equivalent of a doting father who can't tell his spoiled daughter "no" on one of those episodes of "My Super-Sweet Sixteen" on MTV. He will not stand up to the environmental lobby. Hell, he can't even get up the courage to vote anything other than "Present" on any legislation of any importance. That's not Clintonian triangulation, avoiding a position of controversy to preserve a clean image. It's pure, unadulterated cowardice.
In his presidency, Obambi will be forced to engage tyrannical regimes in Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Syria, Palestine, etc. and he will back down to them. He will capitulate because he is a wuss. He's soft, eager to please and always ready to pacify. And our enemies know it. In fact, Obama is so gullible and pansified, he cannot recognize the fox in the henhouse. David Axelrod, Obama's main man, had this to say about the "endorsement" from Hamas, comparing Obama to JFK:
We all agree that John Kennedy was a great president, and it's flattering when anybody [Ed. - even a terrorist organization, I guess] says that Barack Obama would follow in his footsteps."
I made mention above about my self-identification as a jock. Why? Because in competition, you learn to take the measure of your opponent. You know when he's capable of more, you know when you're beat, you know when you hold all the cards. In my life, I've been beat up several times. I've also won several fights. I've learned to never underestimate my opponent. When he's down, step on his throat and do not let up. You win, and you win decisively.
The next president will be required to run to the sound of the guns (figuratively speaking, hopefully) and lead this nation against hostile regimes who want nothing more than to see the Great Satan be obliterated. Barack Obama is not a leader, not a fighter and not a president. He's soft, and I will never respect that in my president. Neither will our enemies.
"When he's down, step on his throat and do not let up. You win, and you win decisively."
Freedom of Religion not Freedom from Religion
There are no prizes for second place. And we can't afford to have a President Obama come back from Caracas, or Tehran waving a piece of paper, telling us that Hugo or Ahmed have guaranteed peace in our time.
when she gets made at Barry?
Wuss, pansified, naive ... Obama isn't fit to be POTUS.
Psychologically, I see serious problems with Obama's fitness to be in a position of leadership.
