This was one of the 2 AF1 planes. Somebody had to make sure there was absolutely no possibility of The President going anywhere. At least his Chief of Staff had to know.

If they don’t, I think they are more stupid and out of touch than I imagined.

Somebody will be a scapegoat. I sympathize with the poor guy.

A whole lot of New Yorkers are pretty peeved about this stunt.

When they express their opinion, the Mobeys that scrounge every online mention of Obama are attacking them. I think this will be one event were quite a few people start to see behind the curtain. Here you have a bunch of people who are otherwise are sympathetic to the one, but are attacked for daring to express criticism.

And remember they were using taxpayers dollars for this stupid exercise. Carbon footprint of BO is unsustainable.

While I doubt that “The One” was at the controls of the aircraft, and I doubt that he ordered up this flight, it was stupid tone deaf move on someone or group of someone’s part.

At the bottom of this stupidity you’ll probably find some eager beaver Obama staffer and some military aid viewing the world from his anal cavity. The old impress the new boss with how cleaver we are and that sort of thing.

Doesn’t excuse this stupidity on anyone’s part, but probably explains it.

By the way, there was a piece on the AF 1 a while back, they have a new commander, the old one retired. You can bet there has been some serious a** chewing going on at Andrews tonight.

The people who were fleeing the buildings, that’s who. This is a perfect example of the thoughtlessness and sefl-absorption of this administration, and I think the only people it annoys are Obama worshipers who can’t be distracted by the truth of his incompetence.

I hear he is “outraged” also. That indicates he 1) has no idea what is happening under his nose or 2) is a liar.

...I think this is something worth posting on. I don't know if Obama had anything to do with it; judging from the picture on Wikipedia when you look at the Air Force One article, this isn't the first time they've done a publicity photo, so it hardly seems like it was Obama's idea if it happened before he was Prez as well. But this is dumb enough to post on I think.

on July 4th. I think that the photo-op might be for the coming reopening of the Statue’s Crown to visitors.

It makes sense although I don’t know why Air Force One is being used. Or, it could be tha “The One” is going to make a big deal of the crown being reopened on the Fourth of July.

It seems like doublespeak to me for Obama to be associated with the Statue of LIBERTY.
