With unemployment climbing to record highs the media is still trying to put a smiley face on everything Obama does. I’m still amazed at just how stupid our electorate has become. Thank GOD not everyone is so stupid and ill informed of course. Look at the headline in the link. Most people wouldn’t even read this article. They would look at the headline and think things are looking up because the headline would fool you into thinking that. In reality unemployment levels have climbed to almost 9% which would be the highest in 25 years. It’s certainly on its way to 10% but when it gets there it too will be overshadowed by some other irrelevant made up figure to gloss over grime reality. The so called economic stimulus package was a waste of our time and money. We are not feeling the brunt of what’s to come because of this recklessness yet. Just wait next year and the year after. Someone is going to have to pony up for all that money they have just wasted. Of course they will try their best to hide any sort of tax increase and the media will certainly be on board covering for it. When cap and trade rolls down the pipe we will all be paying a steep price but media will be dancing around it. Somehow they may even blame Bush for it. I have come to the simple conclusion that Obama has no plan for anything really. It’s actually been reported that he has no plan on what to do with the Gitmo prisoners so why would he actually have a plan for anything else the only thing he’s done is increase spending for more welfare and bailouts. That would have been coming anyway weather the economy was heading in a downward spiral or not because he is a liberal democrat. That’s just what they do. Spend your money. Maybe Obama will pray for a plan on this National Day of Prayer. LOL I doubt it….

We have let the press frame the issues the way they want to. We’re trying to reach out as a party but will never succeed at it as long as we allow the press to control the topic.
BOYCOTT THE MAINSTREAM LIBERAL MEDIA is the only way to stop it. Capitalism to the rescue. If you don’t like what a network says or does, stop buying the products that advertise on that network. If enough people do it, they will be forced to either BE journalists or go out of business. Either way we win, they lose.
Of course we can continue to be politically correct and let the press control the topic. OH heck.. who’s fooling who…. nothing will change. Elected Republicans are cowards when it comes to controlling anything.

Stop buying and start writing-tell these advertisers why you will no longer buy their product or use their company. For some time I’ve thought we should be writing the advertisers in the print media. Obviously, telling the newspapers we don’t like their biased coverage hasn’t worked, tell their advertisers!
And along with what you said djemi, we will be happy to bank with a NON TRAP financial institution. My family has already decided not to buy from the “government companies.” Why should we? The unions have ruined the companies and walked away with the money? No, I don’t think so…

GE will keep supporting the pirates with favorable coverage on NBC, MSNBC and their gushing reporters who get thrills up their legs. Once GE sees Obama for the gangsta he his then maybe the sheeple will not follow them off the cliff.
The point cannot be made often enough: Modern liberalism, as embodied in the Obama presidency, is the defender of the status quo. And the status quo is a road to economic ruin. Political forces cannot redistribute the wealth that the economic system does not produce.

There is an old saying that everyone is familiar with, “The bigger they are, the harder they fall.” It can be added that the higher you rise the lower you go. A man and his pride are are certain to be brought low. Can we have media indictments for failure to be objective? Can we include the executives of NBC CBS ABC MSNBC in truth committee probes when it shows they clearly violate their duty to report honestly? How about a fairness doctrine for the major networks and newspapers? Does the media know how much they are contributing to the anger in this country when they refuse to represent the views of those other than the liberal popular culture? You can be sure that the media lap dogs are going to be scrambling for the life boats when the Obama ship hits the iceberg.
