Keep in mind, however, this is a man who accepted the nomination of a Governor who will likely be impeached and this successfully criminally prosecuted for reprehensible actions that undermine our democracy and the rule of law. If Burris had a smidgen of integrity he would have turned down this offer. Republicans at every level need to remind the voting public of this situation for the next two years.
