New Agency Proposed to Oversee Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae
By STEPHEN LABATON

Social security next
Nikitas3 (Diary) Thursday, September 18th at 8:43AM EST (link)This Fannie and Freddie mess is nothing compared to the $50 trillion Social Security bomb. And all this stuff is created by liberals. All our debt, our future indebtedness, these mortgage agnecies that buy bad loans made to “the poor”, overtaxation, ineffective government programs, unworkable energy sources like ethanol… all liberal. If you give a dollar to the federal government to “help the poor”, then “the poor” get about 25 cents of it. Maybe less. The rest feeds the socialist bureaucracy. If you give a dollar to a private or religious charity, 95 cents or more gets to the poor. So which really helps “the poor”.
