The other day I received an email from a young lady, who said, “so what if Obama believes in Socialism, I really don’t know anything about Socialism, but I like Barack Obama?”
How many people out there in our Nation are saying the same thing – they don’t know what Socialism means, but if it’s a new fad, they’re all for it! This isn’t a fashion show or a college debating team we’re talk about!
This is one of our most critical times in our Nation’s history and it’s not a fashion show or a college debating team or an eloquent speaker – this is about a man’s character, reputation and track record.
Here’s the definition as given by Merriam Webster’s online dictionary.
1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2 a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done
Here is what you can expect if Barack Hussein Obama wins the Presidential Election.
- Higher taxes
- More government control
- Gifts distributed to those who don’t contribute to the welfare of our country, such as illegal aliens, terrorists and special interest groups
- Control over your children’s education
- Taxes so high on Corporate America that they opt to invest their money in other countries (can’t bite the hand that will support us during our recession.)
- The “American Dream” will be extinguished over night – the mamma and papa businesses will carry those who want to sit in their rocking chair and twiddle their thumbs.
To all of this there’s only one answer – do you really want to keep our Nation as “One Nation Under God” or do you want “One Nation Under Obama & Friends?

It is unfortunate
ouwant2 (Diary) Thursday, October 30th at 9:12AM EST (link), but the driving US socialism ambition resides in corporate greed. When the CEO walks away with hundreds of millions of dollars while the workers walk away with $200 a week in unemployment, you get an angry working class.
This is what we have today. Whirlpool announced they are firing 1000 workers in Iowa on the same day they announced the opening of two plants in Mexico with 3000 Mexican workers.
To continue to have faith in corporations, one must also believe in the “We must compete “mantra. This means we expect the man in Iowa to live on $3 a day, support his family, and pay his bills. It is complete nonsense.
It is difficult to raise the fear of “Higher Taxes” when the man is unemployed. For that matter, 43% of America currently pays NO federal income tax. You expect the 9% unemployed in Illinois, or the ones currently paying no taxes, to be concerned if taxes are raised? Preposterous.
The seeds of socialism are sewn through corporate greed and the only trickle down we are receiving today is the fat cat CEO pissing on our backs while telling us it is raining.

We have allowed the meddlers (special interest groups), the Peddlers (news media) and the Government to go their merry way because we were all too busy chasing our materialistic rainbow.
Where we are today is not just because of corporate America – we’re the one’s who have allowed our Nation to falter.
