I called my representative David Scott (D-GA) a few hours ago to discuss his vote on health care reform. I called the Washington Office because I thought that was the quickest way to get information to the Congressmen. The person in his office that answered the phone stated that there was no upcoming health care vote. He said that a health care bill had already passed the House, and there wouldn’t be another vote now. I told him I was under the impression that Nancy Pelosi wished to bring some version of the Senate bill to the House for House members to vote on. After a few exchanges, he transferred me to someone else in the office that I was able to discuss the Health Care bill with.
I guess David Scott’s answer to voter outrage at his actions is to simply pretend there won’t be another vote.

In the end, all we have on our side of the debate are facts and history.
I think we all know how they'll vote...

Don’t be surprised if a final House vote on the senate bill is scheduled within the week. No time to spare in this all-out sprint to the finish.

I call this d.b. all the time. It’s amazing they can be bothered to answer the phone.
