The Far Left is Making Teens Miserable Over the Imminent Destruction of the World

Everyone needs to wake up. And realize what the smartest among us — that would be, the teenagers — know.

Get off your couch and fix the world, ya cretins.

The teens can’t do it all themselves.

At a climate forum this week in D.C., teen Alyssa Wiseman made things clear: “We no longer have the luxury of time.”

Yep. You’re all necessary to save the world:

“Each and every voice is necessary to bring change. My name is Alyssa Wiseman, and I am here as a concerned citizen. As a child, I should not have to worry about my future. But my future is in jeopardy. All of our futures are in jeopardy. Your children’s futures are in jeopardy.”

She’s right — she shouldn’t have to worry.

But when you know the future so certainly, how can you not?

“We have only 11 years to rectify decades of damage that we have inflicted on our planet. And only 18 months until some damages are irreversible. We no longer have the luxury of time. We do not have the luxury of gradual change. We are in the midst of a global emergency. And we must act fast if we want to survive.”

I genuinely feel sorry for teens today. Many must be abjectly despondent, given all they’re being taught.

It isn’t Alyssa’s fault — she isn’t yet wise enough to question what she’s heard.

After all, there was once another young, misled pawn whose youth got the best of them via similar fears, manifested by comparable claims:

Fourteen years ago, a gullible, very impressionable youngster by the name of 57-year-old Al Gore was told we only had 10 years to save the world. The poor kid told eeeeeverybody.

And he fought it all over the world — except at his own house, where he ran up electric bills “21.3 times that of the U.S. household average” (here).

And more recently, 29-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went to fightin’ all those fartin’ cows. And all buildings everywhere (here, here, here, and here). The frequent flyer even declared war on plane travel (here).

As reported by The Daily Wire, another juvenile trying to make a difference is 16-year-old Greta Thunberg. The Swedish teen’s been praised for her efforts, which have included talk time at the United Nations and on the floor of the U.S. Congress.

At least something good’s coming out of Sweden — Wednesday, I had to lament the evil of Ikea (here).

Greta knows, not only about the times in which we live, but also all things which have ever existed in all places and at all times since the beginning of time:

“This is the biggest crisis humanity has ever faced, and we need to treat it accordingly.”

Naturally, she’s anti-Trump:

“I don’t want to meet with people who don’t accept the science.”

Apropos, activist Reina Hatcher took to the mic in Washington to speak for the trees:

ComfyBoo had something to say about that:

As did Jshep72:

I don’t blame the young people trying to save the world. They’re trying to do great things. At that age, who can possess great perspective?

And to be clear, it isn’t just environmental woes — according to the far Left, the world — it seems — is a terrifyingly racist, unjust place. Law enforcement is the Gestapo. The President is Hitler. Our fellow Americans are the Nazis. And there’s a clock ticking on all of it.

I can’t help but feel the adults are making them miserable.

And I wish it weren’t so.

Because they know better. Or should.
