Sexism Smackdown: Sarah Huckabee Sanders Reams 'The View' Over Their Attacks on Melania

How completely and bizarrely out of touch is Hollywood? And how totally irrational, with regard to its political perspective?

It’s so deranged, it can produce a show where everyone is left-wing and call that show The View.

Well, there’s one token conservative. But it’s 1 against 4.

That’s how Hollywood seems to think of America — it’s just a whole bunch of liberals doing and saying liberal things. And maybe one right-wing weirdo here and again. Hence, most every television show is about left-wing, sometimes-gay but never-religious, normal people.

Since The View has little to do with a sharing of perspectives and more to do with a united partisan front, it’s been known to rip into Trump a time or two.

The same goes for any associates of The Donald, including demure Melania. Sarah Huckabee Sanders had something to say about that, and she let it rip on Twitter Friday:

“Sad @TheView continues their disgusting attacks on @FLOTUS. The left’s “war on women” they disagree with is a disgrace. @FLOTUS is strong, accomplished, and has a lot more class than the women who bully her.”

The First Lady’d been castigated the day before, due to her comments on the #MeToo movement.

In an interview with ABC, she’d said something crazy:

“I support the women, and they need to be heard. We need to support them. And, you know, also men. Not just women. We need to show the evidence.”

That’s uh…what’s it called? Oh yeah — justice.

Yes…they excoriated her for touting justice.

Sunny Hostin put it this way:

“Now you have the First Lady of the United States telling women everywhere, ‘Your word is not enough.’”

Allow me to clarify things for Sunny, who is a freaking LAWYER: That is correct; your word isn’t enough. It may get you into a courtroom, but it won’t win a case. In fact, the entire concept of a court case…the entire concept of the law, is that your word is not enough.

Actually, that’d be a great name for the legal sector, wholly: “Hi, I’m Sunny Hostin.” “Hi, Sunny. What field do you work in?” “I work in Your Word Is Not Enough.”

Sigh.

On Friday, guest co-host Yvette Nicole Brown asked Melania’s interviewer, Tom Llamas, whether Mrs. Trump may be concerned about Trump’s infidelity, since she was at first his mistress.

Later that morning, Stephen Grisham, the First Lady’s spokesman, told ’em they could shove it where there’s no View.

“Day 2 of attacks from @TheView. @YNB check your facts before you accuse someone of being a mistress. She’s your @FLOTUS – she deserves your respect & certainly not your lies. Disgusting. #disrespectful #accusation #LiberalMedia @TomLlamasABC @ABCWorldNews.”

Around noon, Sarah socked it to ’em, too.

And she’s right — the Left accuse the Right of a war against women, yet it’s the Left who perpetually attack women with whom they disagree. As for Trump’s family, from Samantha Bee with Ivanka (here)…to Michele Wolf with the First Daughter (here)…to assaults on Ivanka by the likes of Stephanie Ruhle, and The Young Turks…to strikes against Melania by a congresswoman (here), the war is overt.

If people want to stand for all women, it would seem they should stand for conservative ones as well.
