Forget Breitbart, Cruz is now going for the top dog: Drudge. From whom Breitbart gets the hits that pay their bills.”
Buzzfeed provides the transcript of the exchange that took place on the Mike Slater show Monday where Cruz lets his feelings about the media king become known.
“Drudge Report over the years has done a good job highlighting the excesses of the left and the excesses of liberalism, and about the past month the Drudge Report has basically become the attack site for the Donald Trump campaign,” Cruz said on the Mike Slater Show on Monday. “And so every day they have the latest Trump attack, they’re directed at me. By all appearances, Roger Stone now decides what’s on Drudge. And most days, they have six-month-old article that is some attack on me and it’s whatever the Trump campaign is pushing that day will be the banner headline on Drudge.”
And can you blame him? Here’s Drudge’s headline most of today about the completely normal Colorado delegate situation in which Trump lost to Cruz.
Matt Drudge himself hardly makes his true feelings a secret. He’s a notorious deleter of his tweets but these two gems about Colorado are still up.
Does George Bush have to invade Colorado to make it a Democracy? STUNNING Republicans had NO PRIMARY or CAUCUS. At least Dems are faking it!

All of this angst over the fact that Ted Cruz is legitimately pummeling Trump not only in the remaining red state primaries but in delegate fights across the country. Trump, and apparently Mr. Drudge, were too busy linking to Infowars to bother finding out how to win the nomination it seems.
