The conditioned desire for a strong leader(gee..I thought the Left did that) leadsHAS LED to abandoning principles and freedom…for photo-ops, fundraising, resume padding and calls(and results) for more militarization and controls and laws.

And that will lead to MORE “conservative” politics and “conservatives”???

unfortunately it will – so long as the party on the left becomes the party on the right…and the history of the past is thrown down the memory hole.

Never has the difference between the two administrations been more stark as the difference between one of Obama’s high flown empty rhetoric and this plain spoken “I’m calling you out” speech by Dick Cheney.

Even Mrs. Ausonius today, who has never been a Cheney fan (? I know: how is that possible?!), commented that he has risen in her estimation, after she heard some of the comments from his speech.

Hope and Change!

I hope events don’t transpire to bring Mr. Cheney out of retirement and back into leadership, but if they do, I hope he steps forward – and delivers lots of home runs on the left and our other enemies.

From Redstate. They posted Dick Cheney’s recent speech. I heard he slapped Obama around in his usual style. I have a friend who can do the same thing and had the opportunity to witness such a verbal beating once or twice. He could spend twenty minutes insulting you with a smile and a warm tone and unless you were fairly smart you would not catch that he just called you everything including a knuckle dragging throwback.

If Cheney and Obama were to ever cross swords one on one, Obama’s only responsibility would be to stand in one place; that way Cheney would know where to start running rings around him. Like him or not, agree with him or not, I think Cheney’s years of service and consistent principles concerning national security puts him in a league of his own. From the position of being the guru of “doing it right”, when he speaks about how you are doing it wrong, you should listen. So, when Cheney says;

“There are policy differences, and then there are affronts that have to be answered every time without equivocation, and this is one of them. We cannot protect this country by putting politics over security, and turning the guns on our own guys.”

a smart man would take time to think of what he is doing. Obama won’t. It is not part of the plan. Putin and the Russians will gain great advantage during Obama’s reign as President.

After all they are soul mates.

Up to your eyeballs in healthcare “reform”? No problem, but allow Dick Cheney to redirect your focus to an indefensibly foolish foreign policy, the war on terror and the mess that you are making of Afghanistan (where it should be in the first place).

What a smart, smart man. You just know that every time Barry goes to bed after getting clubbed over the head like a baby seal at the hands of Dick Cheney he is thinking to himself “Why can’t I have one of those?”
