It’s all priorities, Baby.

Bush/Cheney aggressive response to terrorist – renditions, imprisonment, interrogation, attacks, disruption – basically waging a war on terror = ZERO successful domestic Islamofascist terror attacks on the US in 7 years. Obama ostrich response to terrorists – dropping use of the term, stopping renditions, closing GITMO, releasing terrorists, granting Miranda rights, making the effort entirely legalistic, denial of issues (“the system worked”), words, words, words = TWO successful Islamofascist domestic terror attacks in < 1year (Little Rock and Fort Hood) and one near disaster in Detroit avoided only by the luck of an incompetent terrorist and the courage of a Dutch tourist (whose action in getting up and stopping the terrorist would be illegal under the new rules promulgated by Napolitano). Seems pretty clear. America is in trouble. Obama does have the remarkable, even the Olympian accomplishment of achieving the seemingly impossible – making Jimmy Carter look like a strong and competent President by comparison.

That explains so much.

Every single person in America, children over 8 yrs of age included, who are not personally enamoured with that little sack of monkey-doo, GETS IT.

We are at war with extremely evil perpetrators.

Objectively speaking, the idiot who removed “war on terror” from the government lexicon, who pledged to shut down Gitmo in one year, who bows to the Saudi dictator, who apologizes for America everywhere he goes, who decided to put 9-11 mastermind KSH on trial in a civilian court in NYC……and we could go on…. does NOT get it.

Or in a softer vein, does the use of the word confirm wholehearted commitment? They are a bright, mature bunch in the WH, ” see, see, our guy has actually used the word “war”. Can’t beat that for proof.

Maybe Janet Napolitano wrote the response to Cheney.

During my years in the Army, there were a couple of times where I had to serve under a person that I didn’t particularly trust or respect. I vividly remember how I felt after Clinton took office – don’t ask, don’t tell, Les Aspin, Somalia. I can only imagine how those on active duty feel now, with this man as Commander-in-Chief.

—But mostly when he insists on only using the word terror to define it as a tactic. That they don’t seem to understand that terror is a result of a successful mass murder done to effect political change. Terrorist is someone putting the political philosophy of terrorism into practise. It really takes a PhD to get confused about simple English commonly used terms.
As to the last sentence, he needs to add “or 2011 whichever comes first”.
