And a shout-out to to the California Republican Party – although Carly is one of the better-looking female CEO’s to come down the pike, that won’t cut it. If she doesn’t rewrite her script immediately, I’ll treat her the same way I treated John McCain…I won’t fill in that white space between the lines for either party.

I hope we are through letting the media dictate which candidates are pallatable and which ones are electable. The far left media should have no business in determining the conservative nominee, but they will try.

Think about the current political environment both personally for Boxer and in general for Democrats. This is incredibly unpopular legislation and Boxer has no way out without really ticking off the hard core base- except this route.

Barbara has been around long enough to realize this manuever was the kiss of death. Actually, it’s quite an innovative political survival technique.

Expect to see more of these legislative gymnastics as the rats try to get off the fast sinking SS Democrat-Socialist ship.

If they don’t show up, she can’t pass it, so they boycott. If she passes it anyway, it loses support in the overall Senate. Either way, she cannot pass it no matter what.

It is times like this that I think about all those who say we need to be a “big tent party” and we have to have a majority to do anything. This situation proves that wrong. Even if there were only TWO republicans on this committee, her legislation still would not have been moved forward.
