I don't have an issue with him confronting Keene and asking tough questions...I've always considered Keene a fraud and an opportunist...but there was a point in all that on the video where Ziegler went from asking questions and demanding answers taunting like a school yard bully and being a complete ass. That's the part I'm referring to...it's good theater though...LOL

so I and EPU shall. Really, sometimes you need to be a little bold and do this. My late Grandmother was famous for Telling people to there faces if she didn't like them and always her feelings be known.

Keene has been dishonest to call himself a conservative. I knew that when Ron Kessler posted comments that Keene made concerning Palin back months ago. You don't have to like Palin, but, for the head of the Conservative PAC to make such unprofessional remarks about someone that was widely seen to be a conservative, showed me at that point that he had other horses in the race, or, had some personal reason for disliking Palin. Were his comments necessary? No. As the head of a Conservative organixzation, he should have had the decency to just shut up.

If you think that Ziegler was wrong to "demand" answers from Keene, do you also think it was wrong for McCormic (I think that was his name) to follow Scozafazza and demand answers from her as well? Should those that waver on Republican/Conservative policies just be able to do the duck and hide game because they are on the wrong side of the issues? I'm really quite happy that they may think they can run, but, they cannot hide from the tough questions, and, that's as it should be.

and carried on the rest of the day with his shenanigans...

His going after Keene was great and I had no problem with it at all...but when Keene got up and walked away...the interview ended and Ziegler went over the line by following and taunting Keene as opposed to asking questions and allowing him to answer.

He particularly went over the line by refusing to leave the stage and I wouldn't shed any tears for everything that happened after that.

As Ben Domenech recently extensively detailed, much of the right is failing to adapt to a new environment. The WCPAC flare-ups are just symptoms of a larger disconnect. The grassroots are disconnected from the party, the new media is not understood by the old money, and the leadership is increasingly deaf to the base.

This is what I'm seeing...and I'm here to tell you...things are moving on the ground and there is an undercurrent that the establishment of the Republican Party has no inkling of.

Several months ago I think it was Mark Kirk who said something along the lines of the Republican Party has gained it's feet when the Tea Party movement erupted in town halls across this country...and I'm her to tell you...If the establishment thinks they are going to jump onto the tracks and hijack this movement like they did in 1994 and drive it off the rails...they'd better be ready to get run over...We're pissed and unrepresented...This is a spontaneous un-lead movement that has sprung up as a result of the desperation many of us felt because noone was speaking for us after the Bushies and Obomites railroaded us with a trillion dollars worth of spending and federal seizures of banks and the auto industry within months before and after the election

The Caramouche incident really sticks out to me - he owns a fax blasting business. I guess he also does buggy whips on mass industrial scale? He is indicative of what is wrong; elders who are no longer effective & need to be replaced.

This happened several months ago at my church - while the pastor was giving the message, an elder interrupted him & trashed some of the sources our pastor used. That elder is no longer an elder; I think he even left & is attending another church. This was not the first time he had interrupted our pastor, & this had caused disruption in the church. Our church is becoming stronger now that he's gone.

That was some turn of events.I can tell you one thing for sure. Ziegler sure gave me an education in those articles and video. I really would have expected better of the ACU. Now I have learned something.

As I have always thought, the GOP leadership, and the old guard in the conservative leadership, are just poisoned through and through with (a) compromise with Democrats, (2) distraction from conservative principles, and (c) self-interest at the expense of principle.

All the more reason to embrace the Tea Parties, the Liberty Alliance Tour, RedState, all this new blood. Refreshing lack of entrenched politics. Instead, there is real motivation about real issues and real principles by people who previously had not been involved and who for the most part don't have anything to gain except in the sense of what all Americans gain from defeating Cap-n-Crap, nationalized health care, and so on.

of the old guard and tell them to STAND DOWN! They have RUINED a perfectly great Conservative party by making it a D'lite party and I aint' saying "delight" because it has been HELL for us out here in the grassroots. So they can either get in line for a change and do it our way or make the move and put the D after their pathetic names and LEAVE and don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you!
