I'm taking my high school senior and his gir friend to add our voices and our bodies in the march to freedom. My home town is a good representation of the country ,totaly split. The democrat voters for Obama are either still strongly for him or are throwing him under the bus. My yard signs have not been stolen or vandalized in 2 months. The new lighted one will carry the 9/12 march in DC next week.

Oh and one day will be set aside for one final family picnic, where we don't discuss politics(at the table).

The smallest protest in the world, here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Wish I could be home for it; would be great to be in such good company.

Our President has made a serious misjudgment when it comes to the ferocity by which the majority of Americans love and defend the rights and freedoms, which define our great Country. However, it is amazing how misguided he is in not understanding that our determination to protect and defend our own children is even more rabid.

It is clear that this President assumed that by tossing out a litany of new programs (intended to “remake” America) we would be so overwhelmed and confused that we would not be able to focus on the details and potential damage his plans would bring… Too bad he doesn’t know our real history… Too bad he was too busy “seeking out” and surrounding himself in the company of radicals who believe as he does, that our Constitution is “fundamentally flawed” and who share his desire “remake” America because while he and his followers believe that they’ve “begun the work of remaking America”… WE THE PEOPLE have begun the work of systematically preventing and dismantaling his every effort.

He managed to slip the Porkulous bill through, but we woke up to that joke. We’re paying close attention now… to everything… and his tanking numbers are evidence of just how many of us are not pleased with what we see… and in the height of our alert he dares to go after the minds of our children.

Cap and Tax, ObamaCare, Omnibus… rhumors of another Porkulous bill… What, Mr. President… Did you think by throwing all of this at us at once we’d be too distracted to see you slipping in the back door of our schools? What, you’ve found that you can’t win in a battle of whits with us adults so you just think you can slip around us and go after our kids?

Bad move Mr. President… BAD move.

We are losing thousands of jobs… we are struggling to pay our mortgages, we are battling against your battery of socialist plans and we remain ever vigilant against the threat of terrorists who still want to destroy our Country… Thanks for all the “Hope and Change” and all that… but don’t for one minute underestimate our capacity to multi-task and to defend viciously those things we hold dear… ESPECIALLY when it comes to our children.

in Effingham, Illinois. The crowd will be drawn from a three-county area, in a town of about 15,000 people, so it's not going to make the national news, in all likelihood.

Plus, they had the foolish idea of asking me to speak.

But it will be from the gazebo on the courthouse lawn. A sweeter slice of Americana there isn't.

I'll be volunteering at our high school the 8th, 9th, and 10th. They haven't yet decided whether they'll be able to air the president's speech, but I won't keep my 15 year-old home, if they do. He needs to be able to identify evil when he sees it, and it isn't too often he gets to see it at school, dressed so well and so adept at teleprompter double speak. I've printed out the lesson plan, and intend to have our own lesson, so he'll get both sides of the picture, and hopefully be able to make informed comment or ask thought provoking questions for the benefit of both teacher and students.

On the 11th, husband and I are dragging same 15 year-old to DC for the Tea Party. I figure if the president can use school time to talk to my kid, I can take my kid to talk to the president on school time as well.

Don't forget to honor and remember all those lost and those still mourning the loss of loved ones and friends on 9/11.
