Americanmale : I have been busy so I didnot see your comment until today. a registeredpolitical action committe is not government. Neither is a PAC. Technically, they are citizen groups with all the privileges of citizens under the First Admendment not governmental organizations restricted by the First Admendment.

covered this? It really surprises me, cause I thought they would RUN with this. It is so typical of Lib Fever, and then some.

I put it on my blog, too, and felt bad for these guys — it didn’t look pretty, but then do you expect any less from THUGS?!?

If they were there as members of a registered political action committee, would that then trigger the 1st amendment? ie Does a PAC (and it’s membership) have any responsibilities under the provision?

I am planning a tea party standout in liberal La-La Land Headquarters next week, yes Northampton MA. I was hoping it would be peaceful but now I have my doubts. However I am seeing some discontent in happy land that may be good. The town just passed another tax increase again and it has many upset and sad. Northampton has a population of about 28,411 not including transients but has a cash flow of about $98,050,045.00 a year and they’re broke.

I hope it will be more peaceful then what I see here

The First Admendment, when enacted, only applied to the Federal Government. The Supreme Court, citing the Fourteenth Admendment, then imposed it on all levels of government. However, it still only applies to government action. Private parties are not covered by the First Admendment so the actions of those protestors cannot be considered a violation of the First Admendment.

YouTube is filled with videos like these two, where the leftists gloat over how they attacked the police and destroyed property: I especially liked the part at the end of the second video when the "peaceful" "anti-war" vandals, er "protesters," showed just how compassinate and patriotic they were by smashing a store window displaying the American flag.
