Last week, an old interview surfaced featuring Barack Obama. I’m not referring to the redistribution video, but the race video. As Leon points out, the interview paints a picture of Obama’s real, deeply-held views. They are views which show how hollow are his attempts to differentiate himself from radicals like Wright and Ayers.
I thought, though, that the youtube video exposing the interview was too long and hazy, so I’ve redone a shorter version which gets right to the juiciest quotes. Namely, that white people don’t want their taxes to pay for the education of black children, that he believes he can achieve some collective salvation for America to ensure his own salvation (whatever that means), and that Los Angeles = Bosnia. A fellow RedStater wonders how people who’ve been witness to real genocide feel about the comparison. The original is available here. To read the PDF of the transcript, click here.
Last but not least, I’d like to include one infrequent RedState contributor’s (edited) bullet points list of what the blue blazes all this really means.

I can’t believe that these tapes were suddenly uncovered. They had to have been known to Repub (and Hillary) oppo researchers. For some reason, the RNC and McCain campaign chose to hold them back until now.
At his point, time is getting very short. At this point, the R and D votes are already set. There is only enough time to convince the moderates and undecided. The media will make sure these tapes don’t get much airplay.
I remain optimistic that Americans will reject the most liberal candidate in generations, when it comes right down to it. But I can’t say that I’m not very nervous about this.

The Dow’s rise today of close to 900 would tend to put these voters in a better mood.
I personally expect some poll to release tomorrow with really terrible results to try to make investors panic and pull the Dow down again.

Just like when he told Joe the Plumber “spread the wealth” Obama showed his true (avoiding the obvious, potentially bad taste, pun – let’s just say) Self. Oh what the heck, the true color is RED!
Just like with the 2001 interview he espoused his true Socialist leanings, he let us know that way back in his book when he stated “I chose my friends carefully” and went on to spell out some of those friends were (direct quote) “MARXIST PROFESSORS.”
Obama has admitted to us that those you associate with are indicative of the direction YOU WILL DEFAULT TO and demonstrates the type of folks he will be relying on when it comes to Policy in any ObamaBinBiden administration. So by Obama’s own words – his associations with Alinski, Ayers, Wright, ACORN, Mazan Asbahi (HAMAS), Rezco, and the latest breaking news of Rashid Khalibi (PLO).
His judgement as to who his friends are, speaks to his CHARACTER (invoke MLK jr).
But, we know Obamanuts will delude themselves again to projecting what they “HOPE” the candidate to be, rather than what the candidate is, and vote for him anyway… When he rules like Chavez, they’ll remember and copy another Obama quote – “He is not the person that I remember.” Shame some people can be so stupid as to fool themselves so easily.

Tell us again how this isn’t Rev. Wright-like how Obama thinks!?!?
