‘Crazed Right Wingers* Make Fun of Obama’s Inability to Produce Change’

Monday Afternoon Open Thread

h/t to StephC for pointing this out.

For those having browser issues use this version:

I will just note that when you have lost the cover of one of your best attack dogs from the last election cycle, you might be doing something wrong. Also, it’s not that we think Obama will change America into Nazi Germany, it’s that he might change America into what immediately preceded Nazi Germany.

Aaron B. Gardner

* Well they must be Right Wingers, they are critical of the President you see.

JUST THE FAX

reelman (Diary) Monday, October 5th at 4:17PM EST (link)

BE A MORE EFFECTIVE CONSERVATIVE…

Congress makes the laws, not CNN, kook liberal posters or the hollyweirds.

Try this for the rest of the Obama (aka the head secular socialist) administration…
Fax the congress at least 2x a month.
Do not waste time with arrogant staffers on the phone or e mailing.
They are adept at filtering these.
As of yet, the socialists have not found a way to filter or respond arrogantly to a Fax.
Take a blank sheet of copy paper and with a dark Sharpie write 50 blunt clean words or less in your own hand.
Address to Public Servant _______.
Sign it, date it, put your phone# and address. Stand up.

Its a known political fact that this method works a LOT better than other ways.
The deaf royalty know if a voter hand writes their individual thoughts they usually care MORE and usually have shared their thoughts with a dozen others who may be inclined to vote against the lying vote-buying cowardly socialist thief receiving your Fax.

A multifunction printer with Fax is now $100 or less.
Over 57 million voters rejected Obama in 2008.
Can half of the dissenters pause a few minutes a week to fire a “torpedo of truth”?
Repeat, congress makes the laws. Stand up.
Winners have a program, losers have excuses.

There are also online services for faxing

Raven (Diary) Monday, October 5th at 7:31PM EST (link)

Scan your page, go to the website and send it as a fax that way. Don’t even need a fax machine anymore.

Well...

D.T. Dickinson (Diary) Monday, October 5th at 5:07PM EST (link)

…probably not a lot of them out there…the only well-known God-impersonator I’m aware of in the business currently has a gig in D.C. with shows every week until late 2012.

- D.T. Dickinson

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

C.S. Lewis

I need to get more sleep, missed the second impersonator word in your reply, Aaron.

Aaron, I'm just wondering if they are afraid they'll be

Andy W. Monday, October 5th at 5:12PM EST (link)

lynched by the left for a parody of the 0.

SNL has been beating up Presidents since Chase tripped on stage spoofing Ford.

This is the worst caricature of a sitting President ever. He doesn’t even attempt to act or sound like the O.

sad.

ps. I did say lynched. meant it. lynch is not a racist word. Its a verb.

Keep up the good work Sam Graves (R, MO-6)

I think it was intentional

illinoisconservative (Diary) Monday, October 5th at 5:40PM EST (link)

I think they intentionally told the actor not to imitate too closely the mannerisms of Obama.

He doesn’t even try to imitate Obama’s cadence, which should be fairly easy to do… say 4-5 words.. pause.. change to other teleprompter screen.. repeat!

Exactly, illCon. He doesn't even try.

Andy W. Monday, October 5th at 5:58PM EST (link)

It’s like the director said, just get up there and speak the lines, don’t be the o, just say the words.

I don’t watch SNL at all anymore. Have they done any other Obama spoofs at all?

NBC’s player doesn’t allow filling up a buffer so you can’t watch unless you have a very fast connection. I’m assuming this is done in an attempt to block ripping but it only makes the video useless for most users.

It is not critical...

smitch61 Monday, October 5th at 6:47PM EST (link)

They are just a little ticked off at the amount of time it is taking him to fulfill his destiny regarding his agenda.. It’s a liberal TV show… If I were a liberal, I would be ticked off too….. not critical of his agenda, just the timeline.

Actually smitch61, I didn't say critical of his agenda..

History of the Constitutional-Convention

techsan (Diary) Tuesday, October 6th at 8:28AM EST (link)

I ran across this podcast series through an email from a friend of my wife. I haven’t listened to any of these, but it was recommended by my wife’s friend who did listen, and whom I trust. I plan to start.

It’s a 31-part series of podcasts on, well, the “History of the Constitutional-Convention”. The descriptions read well…looks to be a good primer on the founding of our country and might be worth passing around? I reserve any recommendation myself until I listen to a few.

It seemed to me to be worth it to post for any feedback if anyone else is familiar with the series.

Ned Ryun put it together…

A former presidential writer for George W. Bush and son of former U.S. Congressman Jim Ryun, Ned Ryun is currently the President of American Majority, a national organization committed to identifying and training liberty-minded leaders. Ned was the co-founder and former director of the Generation Joshua program.

Ned earned degrees in English and History from the University of Kansas and has co-authored Heroes Among Us and The Courage to Run with his father and his twin brother, Drew. Ned and his wife, Becca, reside in Northern Virginia with their sons, Nathaniel and James and daughter Charlotte “Lottie.”

In the end, all we have on our side of the debate are facts and history.
