		<description>I&#039;m no economist either, but while in grad school I heard one thing over and over. It rang true then. It rings true now and I&#039;ve seen it work over and over again. The best solution is usually the simplest.

On the radio I heard how many of the supposed benefits of Obama&#039;s stimulus are based on complex models with lots of assumptions. I was trained in statistics. I&#039;m familiar with modeling and in many cases where many assumptions are made, you end up with a house of cards.

Your solution is a good one and has elements that would attract more conservative Dems.

Well, at least that&#039;s my opinion . . .
